Released does not mean universally available.

ByteDance says rollout is underway. Product pages and account selectors still differ, so every status is tied to a surface.

Jimeng AI

Rolling out; verify the exact signed-in model selector.

ROLLING

Doubao Pro

Rolling out; account and region conditions may differ.

ROLLING

Volcano Engine Ark API

Announced as coming soon; no universal live API claimed here.

UPCOMING

English partner pages

Some still show coming soon, waitlists, or 2.0 fallback.

MIXED

Independent status summary, not an availability guarantee. Check model, price, region, watermark, and terms on the exact surface before submitting.

Confirmed direction

From “make a clip” to “complete a creation.”

The useful upgrade is the combination of narrative time, reference roles, joint sound, and revision control—not one isolated specification.

01 / NARRATIVE

30-second story structure

Organize linked shots into setup, development, turn, and payoff, then extend across rounds with continuity anchors.

02 / REFERENCES

Multimodal reference roles

Assign identity, environment, movement, audio, white-model, and creative direction without treating every file as “style.”

03 / EDITING

Timestamped generation and edits

Direct story, camera, action, pacing, and sound by interval; revise a failed segment while naming what must remain.

04 / CONTROL

White model, green screen, camera

Use spatial structure, motion paths, viewpoint changes, and scene-aware compositing as part of a production brief.

KNOWN PRESSURE POINTS

ByteDance’s release material identifies complex-motion physics and stability with very many interacting subjects as areas that still need improvement.

Questions with evidence boundaries

Before you generate

Rollout, price, terms, and model selectors change faster than capability pages. These answers are dated July 31, 2026.

Is Seedance 2.5 released?

ByteDance release material dated July 31, 2026 says the model is rolling out to Jimeng AI and Doubao Pro, with Volcano Engine Ark API service coming soon. Access still varies by surface, account, and region.

Does this site generate Seedance 2.5 videos?

No. It creates a provider-neutral production brief locally in your browser and routes actual generation to first-party surfaces. No model API is called.

How many references can one request use?

The release material describes up to 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio clips. Product upload formats and provider limits should be checked where you generate.

Is the planner free and private?

The planner is free. Prompt text is processed in the page. It is saved only if you enable the on-device draft option; analytics events do not include your prompt.

Is there a public Seedance 2.5 API?

The dated release reference says Volcano Engine Ark API service is coming soon. This site does not claim a live universal endpoint until official documentation and console access establish one.

What limitations should I test first?

Start with physical contact in complex motion and stability when many subjects interact. Also measure identity, screen direction, lighting, audio, and outside-interval drift after edits.

The render is expensive. The brief is not.
